Mission 3 kits will be available for pickup soon! IDEA Club is only open to 4th-8th graders (and homeschool equivalent) holding Lillie M Evans Library cards.
In order to be eligible to vote for your favorite 2021 Caudill nominee you must have read at least 3 books by February. To log what you have read, signup under your homeroom teacher on ReaderZone. The first of 5 monthly book talks featuring 4 of the books from the list of 20 nominees for the 2021 Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Book Award, an award voted on exclusively by IL readers in the 4th - 8th grade age range. Any "contests" contained herein are exclusively for the patrons of Lillie M. Evans Library District, Princeville, IL.
Our designers were speedy at dropping off their creature creations. These creatures were designed by Princeville, Illinois 4th-8th graders as part of LME Library's IDEA Club. Our next mission kits will be available for pickup on October 19, 2020. Watch this blog and the Library's social media for additional details.
Welcome! We're sorry we haven't been the most active on this teen blog, but that's about to change. The LME Library received a grant from Project Next Generation and the Illinois State Library to establish a Lego program we're calling "IDEA Club" (Imagine, Design, Enact, Achieve). This program is currently limited to 4th-8th graders (and homeschool equivalent) while we fulfill our grant requirements.
